Broncos winger promotes Nova 106.9 with try celebration

Last week Brisbane Broncos winger Corey Oates was challenged by Nova 106.9‘s Ash, Kip & Luttsy to shout them out with a special celebration if he scored a try.

“You’re a try-scoring freak, and this is what we want to talk to you about for your next moment, for your next stage in initiation for our team,” Ash said to Corey.

“Okay…” said Corey apprehensively.

“What I’m thinking is, because we’ve got Madam Butterfly (aka Susie O’Neill) on the team… if you did a butterfly symbol.”

“Righto… okay,” responded Corey.

Sure enough, Corey got on the scoresheet against the Cowboys at the weekend and pulled out the butterfly.
