Brett Lee takes ScoMo’s wicket at Fitzy & Wippa backyard cricket

Staff Writer

Fitzy and Wippa held their ‘Batting For Change’ charity backyard cricket game at Kirribilli House today.

Prime Minister Scott Morrison was, of course, a star guest, and he was joined on a slew of listeners including former Australian cricketers Brett Lee and Ed Cowan, as well as Karl Stefanovic, Guy Sebastian, Mel Mclaughlin,  Sam Frost, Tom Williams and Wippa’s Mum Christine.

The match raised $25,000 for Batting For Change — a charity that helps disadvantaged women in other cricket playing nations.

Fitzy’s team was eventually victorious, but other highlights included ScoMo getting bowled out by Brett Lee, Karl getting bowled out by the PM, and Guy Sebastian being awarded Man Of The Match.
