Brett Debritz starts as weekends producer at 4BC

Brisbane’s 4BC has added to its team, recruiting Brett Debritz as weekends producer.

In the role, Debrtiz will oversee the new Weekend Breakfast program hosted by Spencer Howson.

Howson’s program replaces Chris Smith’s offering, which was broadcast out of Sydney.

Debritz starts this week, and said it’s a great job. “I’m raring to go,” he added.

Debritz was the arts and entertainment editor of Brisbane’s Sunday Mail back in 2000 to 2007, and has also worked across Asia and the Middle East. Most recently, he’s been freelancing and hosting the Mister Brisbane podcast.
