Brendan Annakin heads to Triple M Sydney Afternoons

Triple M Sydney has a new Afternoons host, with Brendan ‘Brendo’ Annakin taking on the slot in 2020.

He’ll be heard from 12-4pm prior to Kennedy Molloy with their National Drive show at 4pm each Weekday.

‘Brendo’ started out in the industry as a panel op and assistant producer for Merrick and the Highway Patrol in 2012. He’s also worked on Afternoons at Triple M Brisbane.

He the anchor of Triple M Brisbane’s Breakfast show for the past four years, working alongside Ed Kavalee, Lawrence Mooney, Nick Cody and more over the past few years.

Annakin says he’s excited to return home, and will also be involved with operations and writing for Triple M Sydney.

“Two things you should know about me: I love Sydney and I love music,” he tells Radio Today.

“What a thrill to be able to turn the early morning alarm off, come back home and spin rock’s greatest hits.”
