Bold weather prediction from 6PR’s Millsy is pretty hot stuff

Around this time last year, 6PR Breakfast host Steve ‘Millsy’ Mills decided to try his hand at meteorology, predicting how many 40 degree-plus days Perth would experience over summer.

So confident was Millsy, he told listeners that if he was wrong, he would broadcast in the nude.

He was wrong, and yes – he did end up in the buff … unfortunately.

Last Sunday, Channel Nine weather presenter Scherri-Lee Biggs returned to local TV screens following maternity leave, so Millsy challenged her to predict how many days will be over 40 degrees this summer.

Last time, there were 9.

This summer, Scherri’s saying 12, but Millsy’s prediction is somewhat different!

It’s been a big few weeks for Millsy, who recently celebrated 20 years on air at 6PR.
