Boden Mugridge has called time on his role as Workday host and Promotions Coordinator at Adelaide’s Fresh 92.7

Addressing his recent absence on-air, Mugridge posted to LinkedIn, saying whilst he feels mixed emotions about his departure, it’s a chapter of his radio life for which he’ll always be grateful.

“While it was shorter than I first imagined, it was packed with growth, challenges, and some unforgettable moments. First flagship show, many live OBs and my first AMAZING co-host Stephanie Freeman (I could talk about you for ages and how fun it was but I’ll get sad). From hosting daily shows to bringing the station to life at street level, I got to be part of something special.”

“The role evolved constantly, and while that helped me sharpen my adaptability and skill set, it also made me realise how important long-term alignment and business direction are for where I want to go personally, and in this industry.”

“I showed up, gave it my all, and walked away with plenty I’m proud of.”

“Massive thanks to those who believed in me from day dot and backed me to make the move across to SA.”

As for what’s next, Mugridge – previously an Afternoon announcer for the ACE Radio Network in Victoria and also heard on-air at Geelong’s K rock – says he is open to new opportunities across radio, media, content, events and branding.

Something clearly happening with Fresh management with this many staff leaving lately. More departures than the airport on Christmas Eve.

Wow, something seriously not right at Fresh. 3 managers out then Cale and now Bo!!! So sad to see for such a solid launchpad station.

What is happening at Fresh? Insane expectations of dual roles burning people out perhaps? This is another post expressing unhappiness at leaving. A shame, I loved my time there but it seems to no longer be the place it used to be.

Bo’s been gone for some time. Membership newsletter sent 23rd May listed him as having left along with Cale from Drive, Executive Manager, Operational Manager and Content Manager.
