Backyard and business legends: Bevo adds 2 new podcast series for 2025

Bevan ‘Bevo’ Jones will soon celebrate seven years of interviewing the superstars of sport and legends of comedy – finding out what makes them tick – on the Legends with Bevo podcast.

And in 2025, the Adelaide journalist, corporate host and former Breakfast radio presenter is changing things up, doing four different seasons and adding two new series: Backyard Legends with Bevo and Business Legends with Bevo.

That’s in addition to Comedy Legends with Bevo and Sport Legends with Bevo.

In Backyard Legends, sports celebrities, chefs, entertainment icons and local heroes discuss the peaceful retreats that offer solace amid their hectic lives.

“As they navigate their gigs, championship games and demanding world tours, these icons reflect on the connection between their current homes and the childhood backyards that shaped them,” Bevo explains.

“Through nostalgic conversations and some fun photos, they share grounding memories in their backyard whether it be climbing trees, making epic tree houses or the best hide and seek games and inspiring stories that celebrate the everyday joys we all need to reconnect and unwind – reminding us that sometimes, the best moments happen in our own backyards.”
