Ash London & Angus O’Loughlin’s Saturday night countdown now called ‘Trending 20’

Former Assistant Editor

The Hit Network has rebranded its Saturday evening show – which will now be called Trending 20 instead of VEVO 20.

The show will retain hosts Ash London and Angus O’Loughlin and take place from 6pm – 8pm each week, with the presenters counting down the Top 20 trending songs in Australia each week.

The rebrand comes in the wake of SCA’s partnership with VEVO ending, with VEVO choosing not to renew a number of its global partnerships recently.

SCA announced that VEVO’s current term would finish at the end of February, so the timing of the rebrand makes sense.

Earlier this month reports emerged that multiple staff from the SCA sales team had left their jobs. The affected members of the team were offered re-deployment in other areas within SCA, and while some accepted new roles others chose to move on.

As with the previous show, Angus and Ash will also feature the hottest new hits of the week, and they’ll be joined by some of the biggest stars in music on a regular basis.

London also hosts her nightly show Ash London Live at 6:30pm weeknights across the Hit Network.

O’Loughlin forms one third of Amos, Cat and Angus on Adelaide’s Hit107 Breakfast.
