ARN’s leadership restructure continues with new commercial appointments

Former Assistant Editor

ARN has continued to overhaul its national commercial leadership team overhaul with more key commercial appointments.

The latest changes see Nick Flood promoted to the role of national direct sales director from his current role as Melbourne sales director.

ARN has secured the services of Adshel’s Anthony Bartram in a newly created role of national trading director, with his role commencing late April in Sydney.

Laura Joyce joins the team after stints at Mamamia, Universal McCann and Ensemble, and joins the team in April as national strategy director.

Meantime Sam Harris will take on the role of Melbourne agency sales director.

“These new appointments and promotion are part of ARN’s ongoing commitment to invest in the very best talent and expertise across all facets of our business,” said chief commercial officer Pete Whitehead.

“The restructuring of the National Commercial Leadership Team is a key part of ARN’s commercial strategy to continue to drive growth across our audio and digital platforms in all markets.”

The changes follow the departure of CEO Rob Atkinson, the completed integration of Conversant Media, and other recent appointments including that of Whitehead to chief commercial officer along with the departure of Emma-Jayne Owens.

ARN’s parent company HT&E sold its advertising arm Adshel to oOh! Media last year, and Ciaran Davis told Radio Today last December that the company would be open to the sale of its radio assets if the right offer came along.
