ARN brings greater focus to sport with completed integration of Conversant Media

Former Assistant Editor

ARN has signalled its intention to bring a greater focus to sport, a move enabled by the completed integration of Conversant Media into its network.

The HT&E-owned radio network today announced that integration of Conversant Media is now complete, following its acquisition back in 2016.

Conversant Media includes leading sports opinion website The Roar, and CEO Ciaran Davis said that The Roar’s content will be leveraged across ARN’s broader assets.

In addition, the integration will allow ARN to streamline its content and commercial offering across its broadcast, digital, social and streaming assets.

The completed integration will also signal the end of sites Lost At E Minor and Techly.

“We have made the decision to cease publication of the Lost At E Minor and Techly websites and will roll in their unique content position across the broader ARN digital publishing and social offering, which currently attracts an unique Australian monthly audience of over 2.4 million,” said Davis.

“There will be no job losses as part of the integration and the existing team have been redeployed across ARN.”
