ARN’s latest pop-up digital station

Staff Writer

ARN have launched a pop-up digital station as another "engaging integrated content solution" for a client.

The pop-up station will focus on SA Health's brand 'be active' and their new campaign 'Walk yourself happy'.

'be active radio' was launched yesterday in Adelaide's Rundle Mall with listening stations and pedometer and digital radio giveaways.

They promise fun, uplifting music. In the half hour we listened this is what they played…

Murder on the dancefloor Sophie Ellis Bextor
Love cats The Cure
Let me entertain you Robbie Williams
Brokenhearted Karmin
I can dream about you Dan Hartman
The boys are back in town Thin Lizzy
Get the party started Pink
Mickey Toni Basil
Summer Paradise Simple Plan

They also air short tips on how to stay healthy and the importance of walking.

'be active radio' can be heard on DAB+ in Adelaide only but also on a mobile platform, allowing people to listen while exercising.

ARN's National Content Director, Duncan Campbell says…

"be active radio is another example of ARN using digital assets to create an engaging integrated content solution for our clients. We are proud to be launching be active radio for SA Health – a practical extension of their be active Walk Yourself Happy campaign.”

ARN have also used digital radio for pop-up stations to air the IHR2 Festival and for longer term client solutions like they have done for Chemist Warehouse.
