APN push ARN to investors

Staff Writer

APN is conducting a presentation today to JP Morgan on the growth and positioning of the Australian Radio Network.

The presentation positions ARN as 'radio for a new world', and points to the ratings growth of KIIS and WSFM in the first three surveys of 2014 as being particularly noteworthy.

The figures outline the growth ARN has seen in Sydney in 10+ share, and 25-54 share, since the start of the year.

The presentation also outlines the cume growth across the broader ARN stations; showing ARN as the leading duopoly in cume (average s1-s3/14). ARN is ranked first in cume, as a duopoly, in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Adelaide, with SCA ranked in 2nd place in each market, aside from Sydney where Nova is ranked #2 ahead of SCA.

The presentation focuses heavily in the iHeart platform highlighting the momentum the platform has seen with registered users.
