Andrew Denton launches podcast series via Nova’s ACAST

Assistant Editor

“I love podcasting, because it gets inside peoples’ heads like nothing else.”

TV and radio personality Andrew Denton has announced a new podcast series, as a companion to his Network Seven TV show Interview.

Interview with Andrew Denton will be launched on NOVA Entertainment’s podcast partner Acast.

In the new podcast, Denton will go beyond the surface with some amazing people to find out who they are beyond the headlines.

The revered interviewer is set to take listeners behind the scenes of the show, with plenty of unheard material to be included as well.

“Nova and Acast know exactly how to reach those heads,” Denton says.

“We’re so well suited, it’s like Married At First Sight without the assholes.”

Celebrities to feature include Daniel Johns, Magda Szubanski, Denise Scott, kidnap survivor Amanda Lindhout, Rebecca Sharrock (the woman who can remember every day of her life), Troye Sivan, Guy Pearce, Tim Winton, Rosie Batty, Dylan Alcott, Mick Fanning and Cher.

Interview with Andrew Denton launches this Thursday, April 18, with new episodes to come every Tuesday and Thursday.

Look forward to this. I’ve heard Andrew might end up on 2GB.

So it’s just the audio from the TV series? Or is their something extra? That guest list is everyone who appeared on the TV show.

Had a listen to this, great hearing Andrews backstory and additional commentary and his extra thoughts about each interview guest. Nobody in this country comes close to him for interview technique. Look forward to hearing the new series on the way to work each morning. Wish he was on GB instead of the clowns that they have on now. Andrew and Amanda still are my all time favourite breakfast show.
