Age is no barrier: 83 year old Rosemary gets tattoo live in Mix 102.3 studio

Age is no barrier when it comes to body art.

Just ask 83 (and a half) year old Rosemary, who was asked to join Mix 102.3’s Ali Clarke Breakfast Show, after calling in to say she’d like to get a tattoo.

Yesterday, Mike Knot from The Grand Talon Tattoo Parlour inked a four-winged dragonfly on Rosemary’s right shoulder live in studio.

Each wing was filled with the name of Rosemary’s four children, with a special tribute to her son, who passed away from Motor Neurone Disease in December last year.

Going face-down for the tattoo, Rosemary joked “Nothing benched is nothing gained.”
