Most Added: Nova propels Meghan Trainor to Glory, P!nk touches down in second place

Marking the upset of the year at radio thus far, Meghan Trainor‘s ‘No Excuses’ is this week’s Most Added To Radio on TMN, prying the crown away from commercial juggernaut P!NK.

‘No Excuses’ was the perfect reboot for Trainor, receiving across-the-board additions to the Hit Regional Network, both KIIS stations, ACE Radio, and the entire national Nova network, with the latter providing the critical thrust to drive Trainor over the line.

The majority of commercial radio jumped at the opportunity to get its hands on a newly serviced P!NK single, as ‘Whatever You Want’ gleamed attention from most networks across the country. However, Nova stepped around the track, opting to add singles serviced over the past couple of weeks (like Hailee Steinfeld & BloodPop’s ‘Capital Letters’).

Logic & Marshmello had an expectedly strong week with the pair’s catchy collab ‘Everyday’. Nights programs were especially enthused with the track as Hit’s Ash London LIVE, Nova’s Smallzy’s Surgery and ACE Nights were quickly on to the single.

Cleaning up the remaining adds and rounding out the Top 5 this week is Janelle Monae’s ‘Make Me Feel’ and Calum Scott & Leona Lewis’ version of ‘You Are The Reason’. Again, Nova was largely responsible for both track’s resurgence issuing across-the-boards adds to both singles.
