Ace launch FM translator in Portland

Staff Writer

Ace Radio’s 3HA in Hamilton will tonight launch their FM translator into Portland, Victoria.

Ace already broadcasts the Mixx FM brand into Portland, and the 3HA translator will double the commercial FM services available in the town.

The launch will be held at Portland’s Richmond Henty Hotel, and General Manager of 3HA/Mixx FM Stephen Jones has said that local residents will now have access to all of 3HA’s content, including Neil Mitchell and the AFL coverage.

Jones went on to say that the translator demonstrated the companies dedication to locally produced and quality broadcasting, saying:

“What it means for Portland is crystal clear radio, its already getting Mixx FM and now Portland has doubled its radio”.

3HA’s FM translator into Portland will launch today at 6pm.
