Acast begins Audio Pride Parade

Australia will be among the nine countries visited as part of Acast’s Audio Pride Parade, which kicked off this week.

The independent podcast company says “LGBTQIA+ Pride month has always focused on celebration, reflection and protest. For Pride events this year, Acast wanted to hand the celebration and ceremony over to our podcasters to describe what Pride means to them.”

Special podcast episodes from Acast creators will be published as a virtual audio parade, as LGBTQIA+ Pride moves between each country and event.

The Audio Pride Parade starts in Los Angeles with a special episode from The Young Turks and can be followed on Acast’s social media channels.
