ABC PM’s Linda Mottram to retire

ABC PM Presenter Linda Mottram has announced she will be retiring this year, following a career which spans three decades.

Originally from Perth, Linda is an award-winning journalist, with roles including ABC Radio Sydney presenter, EP of RN Breakfast, editorial trainer, foreign correspondent and, most recently, host of the PM program and podcast This Week.

During her time as a foreign correspondent, she covered major stories across the Middle East, Europe, Asia and the Pacific which saw her win a Walkley Award.

Mottram won a Walkley in 1999 for her coverage of the Meja massacre during the conflict in Kosovo.

There will be a tribute to Linda’s career on PM at 5 pm today.
