A Russian air strike hits Ukraine mid-interview

A Ukrainian correspondent was forced to hang up mid-interview on Triple M breakfast this morning after a nearby airstrike.

Sydney announcers Mark Geyer, Jess Eva, and Chris Page were speaking with Ukrainian parliament member Kira Rudik about the Russian invasion when her Skype screen suddenly shook.

The Kyiv-based politician confirmed they had just been rocked by another Russian airstrike.
