A laugh for nix

Nova 100’s Meshel & Tommy are bringing free laughs to locals in Melbourne with their own comedy tour kicking off today.

Nova’s had a long term fling with the Melbourne International Comedy Festival. Over the last couple of years Nova has held the ROFL Room comedy events showcasing up and coming comedians during the festival.

Tommy has roped in his comedian mates to take the laughs out of the city and into the burbs, allowing listeners to enjoy some of countries best comedians for free.

Tommy said, “I’m lucky enough to be mates with some of the funniest people in the country. We’re like a rock band except it’s made up of people that never got laid in high school.”

He has lined up Peter Helliar, Luke McGregor, Dave O’Neil, Ronny Chieng, Denise Scott, Karl Chandler, Nazeem Hussein and Nick Cody will all join Tommy during Meshel & Tommy’s Local Comedy Tour.

Today it all starts in Frankston with the tour then heading to Werribee, Ringwood and Preston over four consecutive Thursdays.
