Here's the story ….

15 year old Jarrod was caught in a rip while snorkelling and dragged 500m off shore.

A stranger was walking along the beach with his girlfriend when he spotted Jarrod struggling to keep afloat.

The man stripped down to his underwear, swam out and rescued Jarrod. He then waved down a 4WD who assisted the teen from that point on.

Jarrod's Mum Trudy reached out to 92.9's Lisa, Paul & Baz to help locate this hero who saved her son's life.
