2RG Griffith floods

During natural disasters radio has an opportunity to show how powerful and relevant it is to their local community. To do so however does require staying on the air, and when that is challenging, then there is always your sister station!
The flooding through southern NSW has caused problems for Griffith station 2RG who have had their AM transmitter inundated with water, causing severe problems for the broadcast signal.
General Manager Chris Corbett and his team haven't missed a beat, ensuring that whilst they work on repairing the 2RG signal, the duopoly partner Star FM is delivering flood information and updates as they happen.
Exactly what great local radio stations should do.
