Macquarie Media’s 2GB and Magic 2CH are now part of the iHeartRadio Australia platform.

The deal with ARN  sees Sydney’s number 1 news and talk station 2GB along with music brand Magic 2CH, stream anywhere, anytime with iHeartRadio.

The new agreement means the full stable of Macquarie Media Limited stations are now available on iHeartRadio following the 2014 addition of news and talk brands 2UE (Sydney), 3AW (Melbourne), 4BC (Brisbane) and 6PR (Perth) and digital station NTS, along with music and entertainment stations Magic 1278 (Melbourne) and Magic 882 (Brisbane).

Head of iHeartRadio Australia Geraint Davies said: “It’s great to have 2GB and Magic 2CH on board so we now have the entire Macquarie Media network available on the iHeartRadio Australia platform. All the other stations have been performing really well, with mobile streaming hours to the existing Macquarie stations doubling so far this year. The addition of these two mighty and well-loved stations should see that number double again.”
