Nine Radio has announced that a new Wide World of Sports radio show will feature some of the greatest players ever to play rugby league in Australia.

The show will be broadcast on 2GB and 4BC, with Billy Slater (Mondays), Paul Gallen (Tuesdays) and Brad Fittler (Wednesdays) to join host Mark Levy.

Levy will then be joined by Ken Sutcliffe on Thursdays for Kennys Corner.

Wide World of Sports kicks off on Monday, February 17 on Nine Radio.

The Continuous Call Team also returns for the 2020 NRL season, following the announcement that Ray Hadley and Bob Fulton won’t return to the lineup.

Mark Levy, Darryl Brohman, Erin Molan, Mark Riddell, David Morrow, Jamie Soward, Anthony Griffin, Chris Warren, James Willis and Joel Caine are all on the lineup, while Ray Hadley will join to call State Of Origin games, and the NRL Grand Final.

Wide World of Sports radio has the biggest names and the best coverage of sport and rugby league in particular, with Slater, Gallen and Fittler adding a new layer of expert commentary,” said Nine Radio Head of Content, Greg Byrnes.

“The show will give Sydney and Brisbane listeners everything they need to know about the game they love.

The Continuous Call Team is set for another cracking season as they return for a record 34th year covering rugby league.”

4BC will now be getting a Queensland Edition of Wide World Of Sports replacing the Mark Levy Version. Peter Psaltis will host the QLD edition on 4BC while Mark Levy will host the NSW Edition on 2GB/2CC.
