2Day Go Live with World Record Kiss

Some say he is 2Day’s most eligible Bachelor, he also happens to be the stations music director. Somehow Mathew Eggleston got roped in by Dan & Maz to join The Bachelor Australia’s Sandra, as they set out to make radio history by kissing for 5 minutes and 15 seconds on Facebook Mention’s Go Live.

RadioToday told you about the new Facebook Mentions app that includes Go Live and it looks like 2Day is the first station to use it with the live video stream clocking 3,500 live viewers at its peak, over 21,000 views and 500 comments in the first hour of being posted.

It all came about because Sandra missed out on breaking a record with The Bachelor Australia’s, Sam Wood, when another contestant kissed him for 4 minutes and 10 seconds on top of the Harbour Bridge on a single date. So Dan & Maz went about fixing that up.
