2021 radio ratings dates revealed

The dates for radio surveys and the release of the ratings in 2021 are now available.

The first survey will track listening habits in the five metro capital cities from January 17 to Feb 27, and data will be released on Thursday, March 11.

Survey two will include February 7 to 27, and February 28 to April 3, the results of which will come out on Thursday, April 14.

Survey 3 through to 8 will return to their traditional Tuesday release: June 1, July 6, August 24, September 28, November 9, and December 14.

Newcastle, Canberra and Gold Coast/ Tweed Heads will all have three surveys.

This year, radio ratings were paused after the release of Survey 3 due to difficulties collecting in-person data and distributing paper diaries to survey participants throughout COVID-19 restrictions and lockdowns.

Surveys resumed towards the end of July with the first post-COVID release of ratings occurring last month.

Melbourne’s radio ratings for the most recent survey were 100% reliant on e-diaries.

Survey 7’s data comes out on Thursday next week.
