Announcer Melanie Martin wins Voice Tracker of the Year

Canada’s Melanie Martin has been awarded Voice Tracker of the Year by Voicetracker Hub and RCS.

She receives a prize of $500 in Voicetracker Hub’s annual global search for the world’s greatest voice tracker.

Martin is the live host for Big101.1 Breakfast in Barrie. She also voice-tracks at Hits 100 in Little Current and 91.5 The Beat in Kitchener.

“I loved Melanie’s pace, energy and brightness – a great example of voice-tracking,” said judge Mike Cass of Virgin Radio.

“Melanie was fun. She kept me hooked and each break had a
solid out,” added last year’s winner Lyndsey Marie who joined the judging panel in 2019.

Melanie is an award-winning radio host with 14 years in major market morning radio which has earned her a very loyal fan base.

Can we do some awards for ‘best sales pitch not attended’ or ‘best news that can be played any time of year’ or ‘best general management via correspondence from Bali’ – the people who normalize this garbage are the problem.
