WSFM’s Amanda Keller again nominated for the Gold Logie

Former Assistant Editor

The nominees for the 2019 TV Week Logie Awards have been announced, with Amanda Keller in the running for the Gold Logie.

For the second consecutive year, WSFM’s Keller has been nominated for her work on The Living Room.

Former SAFM and Triple M radio personality Sam Mac is also up for the Gold Logie for his work on Sunrise, while ex-Mix 101.1 host Tom Gleeson from Hard Quiz too made the cut.

They join Costa Georgiadis from Gardening Australia, Eve Morey from Neighbours,  Rodger Corser from Doctor Doctor, and Waleed Aly from The Project.

TV Week editor Thomas Woodgate told news.com.au that Keller is a hot favourite this year.

“If you want me to put a name out there that I think is the one to beat at this stage, I think Amanda Keller going back to back in the Gold Logie nominations is telling,” he said.

“I would say that Amanda is the one to beat, but I’m not the one who has to make the decision, that’s the Australian public.”

Hit Network’s Carrie Bickmore is nominated for Most Popular Presenter.

Dave Hughes’ Hughesy, We Have A Problem, and True Story With Hamish & Andy are both up for the Most Popular Comedy Program.

The 61st TV Week Logies are held on June 30 at The Star on the Gold Coast.
