Winner announced for 2TM Discovered 2024

Maddison Kate from Queensland has been announced as the winner of the 2024 2TM Discovered quest.

Kate performed her original song ‘A Truth’ to the star-studded judging panel, Andrew Farriss, Melanie Dyer and Jarred Taylor.

She received high praise from Farriss, who compared her voice to that of a young Joni Mitchell.

2TM says this year’s quest drew a huge number of entrants and the talent was incredible.

Each of the Top 4 finalists had the opportunity to co-host the 2TM Breakfast Show with Sharnae Birkett and were interviewed on the Lounges Plus Live Lounge.

Maddison received the 2TM Discovered trophy, airplay on 2TM and $500 from Centrepoint Tamworth as part of her prize.

The encouragement award was given to NSW finalist Shyanne Irwin.
