Who copped a canning? ARIA Song of the Year

With the 30th ARIAS happening…. The guys at AirCheck have pieced together the most flogged songs playing on Australia radio – up for ARIA Song of the Year. (flogging may or may not have happened – it’s all in the interpretation).

So who was played most and where? Take a look.

‘Cheap Thrills’ by Sia was the most played song on Australian radio nominated for ‘Song of the Year’ in the 2016 ARIA Awards between 1 January – 22 November 2016 with 16,328 spins. Hit104.1 2DayFM aired the most spins with a total of 984 instances.

The second most played nominated track during this time was ‘Never Be Like You’ by Flume Featuring Kai with 16,223 plays. The most spins were on Nova 969 with 1,236 instances.
