When fiction meets reality: Special mention for 5MU’s Up and Adam

Even book characters can enjoy real-life radio shows, as 5MU Murray Bridge can attest.
5MU’s Breakfast show Up and Adam – hosted by Adam Connelly and Jennie Lenman – gets a special mention in the latest book from best-selling author Leonie Kelsall, with a fictional character in The Willow Tree Wharf enjoying the ‘unfailingly cheeful’ program.
Kelsall revealed she fought her east coast editors to keep the local reference in, telling them “I’ve known that radio station all my life. Everybody important knows it.”
