2Day FM went off-air Monday, leaving its morning announcer Mike Christian to think on his feet as SCA technicians scrambled to fix the issues and restore calm.

“It’s every radio announcer’s WORST nightmare. That moment you press a button and nothing happens. When the entire studio STOPS WORKING and you’re playing music off a CD,” he wrote.
