Vevo has biggest month yet

Vevo is a joint venture between Sony and Universal and, in Australia, is in partnership with MCM Media.

It is the third biggest online video platform behind YouTube and Facebook (Nielsen) and in July they had their biggest month yet, with 80.2 million streams.

Music is a rapidly growing category for Vevo with 12.9m Australians streaming online videos last month, 90% of them from the entertainment category.

They streamed to a unique audience of 2.58m consumers, that's 1 in 5 of our total streaming audience viewed an MCM music video in June.

MCM Media’s Digital Commercial Director, Lachlan Brahe said:
