Vale Keith McGowan

Former 3AW mid-dawn announcer Keith McGowan, 70, has died after suffering a stroke in his sleep a couple of nights ago.

McGowan started in radio at 3UZ in 1957 and worked at 17 stations before retiring in July 2011 after 21 years on 3AW.

He passed away at 11pm Sunday.
