Former MTV host Lisa Hamilton launches travelling podcast, Vacay

Lisa Hamilton, who used to appear on MTV, has a new project hosting a podcast about “the wild, weird and wonderful world of travelling”.

“You know what 2020 needs? Another podcast,” publicity for the new venture said.

Hamilton is said to have started the podcast because Aussies’ lust for travel hasn’t disappeared throughout the pandemic and border restrictions. It offers up an alternative, it said – an audio vacation.

Each episode will see Hamilton chat to a guest about their “sexy, wild, scary, romantic, sad, thrilling and definitely shitty escapades from their travels”.

The first episode featured Flex Mami talking about her trip to Ghana which was fraught with mishaps.Other guests will include TV presenter Maude Garrett and DJ Milly Gattegno.

Episodes are released every Wednesday.
