True Crime podcast claims top spot: Australian Podcast Ranker

ARN’s iHeart Podcast Network finished 2023 with a bang, with Audioboom’s Casefile True Crime rounding out the year as the No. 1 podcast, according to Triton Digital’s Australian Podcast Ranker.

It moved up a spot in December, coming in ahead of Mamamia Out Loud, with Hamish & Andy down two spots to No. 3.

LiSTNR reached more than 6 million listeners in December, according to the Ranker.

Uncomfortable Conversations with Josh Szeps made its debut in the top 200.

“It was an extraordinary year for LiSTNR in 2023, as we launched new formats and titles and more seasons of popular podcasts which has attracted Australia’s largest audience to the network,” says Grant Tothill, SCA Executive Head LiSTNR Podcasts.

“We have an exciting slate of podcasts planned for the year and advertisers will have the opportunity to engage with listeners like never before.”
