Podcast besties launch new travel venture

Podcast hosts and best friends Nicola Dale and Di Edwards are taking their community from the airwaves to the world with the launch of Over the Travel Fence – a new small-group hosted travel venture designed to bring people together through immersive shared experiences.

The pair will host their first journey, India: A Journey of Colour & Connection, in March 2027.

The intimate group experience will take 14 travellers through India, with visits to Delhi, Jaipur and theTaj Mahal, alongside the colour and energy of the Holi Festival.

The launch marks the next stage of the growing Over the Back Fence brand, which has built a community of listeners in more than 60 countries through weekly conversations about friendship, life, reinvention, and connection.

Nicola and Di have been friends for more than 40 years (and genuinely do share a back fence!)

“What started as conversations over the back fence has grown into a community of people who want to connect, laugh and experience life together,” says Nicola.

Together, Nicola and Di have built Over the Back Fence into a growing lifestyle and conversation brand, featuring more than 200 guests including Ita Buttrose, Maggie Beer, Rachel Griffiths, Layne Beachley, Lisa Curry, Steve Bradbury and Mark Bouris.

The wider brand also includes Over the Money Fence, their bi-monthly money conversations with Roger Montgomery.

The launch of Over the Travel Fence follows the success of their recent Feel-Good Friday: Back Fence Disco.
