Caro on Triple M: “They are the ones who should be sanctioning them.”

Staff Writer

Caroline Wilson appeared last night on 3AW’s Sports Today and continued the discussion on the week’s big story saying it’s not up to the AFL to decide whether Eddie McGuire and James Brayshaw deserve sanctions over comments they made about her on Triple M.

On the show Caro has stated she was “staggered” by the lack of public pressure on Triple M.

While Eddie McGuire faced the Collingwood board last night and kept his role as Club President, the topic on 3AW wasn’t about Collingwood or the AFL but why SCA hasn’t taken action, with Caroline Wilson saying it was up to their employer, not the AFL, to decide on any punishment.

“They (Triple M) are the ones who should be sanctioning them,” she said on 3AW’s Sports Today.

“It’s great the AFL said something, because they are two AFL club presidents, but I don’t understand why it’s not the employer being taken to task?”

Take a listen.

This afternoon, Suthern Cross Austereo formally issued a statement and you can view that story here.
