Triple M’s Grill Team on Media Watch

The thought of being mentioned on ABC TV’s Media Watch is enough to give most radio people the shivers.

But Triple M’s Grill Team were not only mentioned, but praised, by host Paul Barry in last night’s episode.

Barry was impressed by the way the Sydney on air team conducted a recent interview with convicted fraudster Jordan Belfort aka the Wolf of Wall Street.

Belfort, who’s touring the country lecturing in the art of business, was confronted by one of his fraud victims on the Triple M show.

“(The Grill Team) did what (all interviewers) should have done in the first place – get the ‘wolf’ to talk to one of the ‘lambs’ he had mauled, an investor who lost $60,000,” Barry said.
