Triple M Sydney becomes ‘Triple Panther’ ahead of NRL Grand Final

Staff Writer

Triple M Sydney has “changed its name” this week in honour of the upcoming NRL Grand Final between the Penrith Panthers and the Melbourne Storm.

The station will go by the moniker Triple Panther on socials and on air.

“As the Penrith Panthers team is the only Sydney-based team to make it all the way to the Grand Final, the whole of Sydney will be backing them this Sunday night when they compete against the favourites, Melbourne Storm, for the Grand Final trophy,” Triple Panther said.

In addition, each morning this week, host of the Moonman in the Morning Breakfast program, Lawrence Mooney, will chat to a former or current Panthers player to relive some of the glory days of previous Grand Final wins.
