Triple M Mackay’s Jay Shipston among Australian LGBTI Award nominees

Triple M Mackay’s Jay Shipston has again been nominated for an Australian LGBTI Award, which recognise individuals and organisations that have demonstrated an outstanding commitment to the LGBTI Community.

It’s the third time Shipston has been nominated in the ‘media professionals’ category and is hoping that third time is the charm.

But, he’s up against some big hitters in this category including former Big Brother winner Benjamin Norris, journalist Jesse Jones, The Record Doctor host Adem Ali, SCA alumni Paul ‘Browny’ Brown and Scoopla’s Red Carpet reporter Justin Hill.

Voting is now open for the awards, which will be presented at a gala event in Sydney next March.
