Triple M Hobart’s Kaz & Tubes take David Walliams on a magical Tassie day trip

Triple M Hobart Breakfast hosts Kaz & Tubes have spent a magical day with English actor and comedian David Walliams, introducing him to the sights and delights of Tasmania.

A scenic plane ride, guided boat tour and guided walks through Melaleuca were enough to convince Walliams of the wondrous beauty in the wilderness of the Apple Isle.

Walliams gave Tasmania his tick of approval, saying, “It’s gorgeous. I’m so glad I came to Tasmania. I think it’s the most beautiful part of Australia because it’s the most untouched. It’s been magic.”

Tubes says “The day was perfect for a trip to the South-West. We pointed out everywhere, all these different places that we went out with him. I’d been down to Melaleuca, and I’ve spoken about it many times about how it was a spiritual experience to go somewhere that was so beautiful and yesterday it was almost an out-of-body experience. The good news, Hobart, is we now have an international ambassador in David Walliams.”

Kaz says “We took him out for the day. We got on a boat, cruised the waterways, had lunch on a little beach.”
