Triple M Hobart’s International Women’s Day special

Staff Writer

Triple M Hobart is celebrating International Women’s Day tomorrow with a special day of programming.

The Dave Noonan Breakfast Show with Al Path will be guest hosted by leader of the opposition Rebecca White, Channel 7 Tasmania newsreader, Jo Palmer and AFL Tasmania CEO Trisha Squires.

The show will feature an all-female playlist, while the rest of the day will be filled with locals speaking about what IWD means to them.

Those supporting the special broadcast include Tasmanian ex-Senator Jacqui Lambie, Hobart Lord Mayor Anna Reynolds, AFLW North Melbourne star Nicole Bresnehan, Tasmanian Australian of the year Bernadette Black and Speaker of the House Sue Hickey.

“It’s a really exciting opportunity to mix things up and with so many guests on the show on just one morning, there’s bound to be some chaos and fun while we’re spreading such an important message!” said Dave.

“It’s a positive message that’s really close to my heart and we know Hobart will respond well to it,” added Al.
