triple j celebrate 20 years of the Hottest 100

Last week we told you that triple j were planning to celebrate 20 years of the Hottest 100 by compiling a list of the hottest songs from those 2 decades.

Starting today, triple j listeners are being asked to vote for their 20 faves from January 1993 to December 2012.

Voting will close on June 2 with the countdown playing on triple j on the weekend of June 8 and 9.

To create daily excitement in the lead up, triple j are playing the Top 20 from a random year during the workday. At 10am Zan Rowe will play 20-11 with Lewi McKirdy playing 10-1 from 2pm.
