Training That Is Getting Results

Southern Cross Austereo introduced a new Trainee Producer initiative in 2015, where you got to work alongside the best content producers in the industry on some of SCA’s biggest shows.

Bridget Northeast was the first recruit. She started with the Fox FM content team and by the end of the year, Bridget was ready to take on producing the national breakfast show over Sumer. Bridget is now making a move north, to be the Nights Producer with the Hit Network team in Sydney

SCA say they have demand for producers, particularly in Melbourne, and soon will be recruiting the next phase of trainees with the aim of taking the initiative nationally this year. The program also included short courses with AFTRS.
