Top rating True Crime podcasts come together

Reporter

Two of Australia‘s most popular True Crime podcasts have come together for a robust discussion about crime from both sides of the law – and from two separate continents.

Gary Jubelin, host of I Catch Killers, and Jack Laurence, host of One Minute Remaining, recently sat down together for collaborative podcast interview and deep dive into the world of crime and punishment.

With unique perspectives from opposite sides of the law (Gary being a former Australian detective and Jack exclusively interviewing those who are incarcerated in the United States), it was a very insightful conversation.

“I’ve been a listener of I Catch Killers from the very beginning and have always loved Gary’s interview style,” says Jack.

“When the opportunity came up for us to sit down and chat about the criminal justice system both here in Australia and in the United States, I jumped at the opportunity.”

Gary adds “It was great coming together with Jack, who shared incredible insights into the US justice system. I found the conversations with Jack fascinating, and always enjoy hearing different perspectives from the world of crime.”

Over half a million people tune in to I Catch Killers every month, while One Minute Remaining has surpassed 4 million downloads since it launched just 17 months ago.

Jack and Gary discuss sensitive topics like youth crime, America’s tough sentencing laws, the jury system, and even Gary’s own experience with almost sending an innocent man to prison.
