Too hot for Triple M

When a fire alarm goes off in a radio station, should the announcer stay behind to keep the station on-air ? If they do, that could make for some compelling radio right ? 😉

The Triple M Hot Breakfast obviously have a more sensible rule. If the fire alarm sounds, drop everything and run to the nearest pub.

This is what Eddie McGuire, Mick Molloy and Luke Darcy did 15 minutes before the end of their 'Live from London' show.

The alarm sounded, they ran down the fire escape and headed directly to nightclub Chinawhite while firefighters investigated.

Mick told London Confidential he knows what set off the alarm…

"I believe Sinead O'Connor was played on Triple M and alarms automatically went off. It was the early warning Sinead O'Connor alarm and the whole building had to be evacuated and fumigated."
