Tony Abbott sings on Nova

Before he makes his radio jock debut on smoothfm this weekend, Opposition leader Tony Abbott appeared on sister station Nova 969 this morning.

When Fitzy & Wippa asked him if he wanted to join them on their Aussie Battler Boat tomorrow, Abbott said:

"I’d probably be too much of a Grog Monster for ya fellas"

Then Wippa grabbed his guitar and launched into Elvis Presley's "Suspicious Minds" and Tony happily joined in.

Gotta love what pollies will do for publicity on radio.
