Tom Martin departs Gold 104.3’s Christian O’Connell Show

The Christian O’Connell Show’s Executive Producer Tom Martin has thanked the ARN team around him, after announcing he is leaving Gold 104.3.

Tom’s moving to Adelaide with his fiancé, who he says has been offered one of those ‘once in a lifetime’ career opportunities.

Tom says being part of The Christian O’Connell Show has been the greatest highlight of his career.

“I couldn’t be prouder of the radio we’ve made and the feeling we’ve been able to create with our audience. I’ll forever be indebted to the entire production team for sharing their incredible talent, dedication and skill, to Sue Carter and ARN for trusting me, and to Jack and Patsy for letting me into their incredible lives.”

Tom rates Christian as one of the best broadcasters in the world.

“I can’t say thank-you enough to him for letting me into the Treehouse, and for helping me grow as a person and professional. He brings the best out of you.”

During Tom’s three-plus years at ARN’s Melbourne headquarters, the show has established itself as the city’s #1FM Breakfast Show ,with Tom guiding the team through hundreds of shows including the challenging COVID years.

Senior Producer Caitlin McArthur (pictured above) will step into the role as Acting EP of The Christian O’Connell Show in the new year.
