Tom Ballard prepares to finish at triple j

Tomorrow, triple j's Tom Ballard will do his final breakfast show.

"It’s been the sweetest of gigs, but I feel like now’s the right time for me to try new things. This will give me an opportunity to focus on my real passions: standup comedy and not getting up at 4am. Thanks for everything, I feel extraordinarily lucky and I love you all very much," said Tom.

To celebrate his run on breakfast, triple j are holding an end of year OB/party at The Metro in Sydney. The party will have a LIVE Like A Version featuring Josh Pyke, Kingswood, Gossling, Elana Stone and a surprise guest.

There'll be stand up from new breakfast guy Matt Okine and Sam Simmons and a lot more.
